Amarillo, Site 6, NRG Tall Tower 40m, 4.5 inch diameter, Installed northeast of Harrington Power Station on northeast side of Amarillo Texas. Tower is fenced around each guy wire set and logger is mounted at 3 m agl. Sensor locations were changed after tower was destroyed in May/June 98 and re-installed in late fall 98. Current booms are placed to South and Northeast. Tower lays to west. Booms are NRG 4' black anodized aluminum.

Site Description: Located on a slight rise, scrub grass/yucca plants, cow pasture with irrigated land to the east of site. good exposure to all directions but not on the highest area within 2 miles.
