Blue
Grove, Site 10, is mounted on a TXU microwave relay tower/radio tower south
of Blue Grove TX. Tower is about 60m tall and is a Rohn guyed tower with
4 ft face width with torsion arresters. The south face is used for logger
mounting and booms extend on opposite sides of the tower. The south and
north sides are mounted on the west face , ladder is inside tower and difficult
to climb.
Site Description: 33.8 Deg. North, 98.2 Deg. West,
305 m elevation. Oil patch country, light grass with scrub oak and sinery
mont brush. Slight high ground above oil field.
